THE PATISSERIE

Let’s go eat something
In a nice patisserie
Fancy a strawberry cheese cake
Or a tuna fish pastry?
I like the 5 o’ clock tea
And the tea time food,
I can have it
Three times a day:
Chocolate cake for breakfast
Ice cream for lunch,
Croissants for dinner,
But it is best eaten
In a patisserie among other people,
So wearing my best clothes
Putting on a light make-up
I go to the patisserie
My dream come true,
With so many things to choose from
Shall I get chocolate ice-cream
Or a Chelsea bun instead?
